I know it's terribly British to talk about the weather, but those of you who actually live in Britain will know why it's such a hot - or rather, wet - topic at the moment. Rainy enough for ya? Yup, me too. Now, those of us living on this rain-soaked little island won't actually need gadgets to tell us when it's going to rain, because it doesn't actually stop raining. For the rest of you, there is Ambient's weather-forcasting umbrella - an umbrella with an LED handle which will change colour to warn you when it's about to rain or snow. (Assuming, of course, that the drops of rain or snow haven't warned you first).
It costs $125, recieves local weather updates from Accuweather.com and has a patented "Gust-Buster" canopy design, which I'm assuming will protect you from those freak gusts of winds that threaten to send you, Mary-Poppins-style into the sky.
