3D body measurement will be offered in POLO stores

POLO, the specialist company for motorcycle clothing, accessories, technology and recreation will in future use technology by Human Solutions to respond even better to the needs of its customers. That's why the motorcycle specialist company has equipped each of its stores in Berlin, Bremen, Halle, Jüchen, Kiel, Magdeburg, Nurnberg and Offenburg with a 3D body scanner.

One of the most important demands made on motorcycle clothing is for individual fit. A flutter-free fit combined with optimal freedom of movement is the prerequisite for a comfortable and safe ride. Every human body has its own unique dimensions - so the clothing must be made to fit the customer and not vice-versa.

Astrid Benten, responsible for POLO Design and Product Development said, “A good fit is a must to enable the protectors in the clothing to perform in the best possible way. That's why we opted for Human Solutions technology. We first measure our customers accurately and three-dimensionally in a contact-free procedure.

Then we compare their dimensions with our POLO collection sizes, a process that only lasts for seconds. The final step is then recommending the optimal clothing for the customer. And the Human Solutions technology also has an added bonus - the amount of time the customer has to spend on trying-on clothing is significantly reduced.”
