VFB Lingerie, a leading European group specialized in the design, creation and distribution of underwear (part of the American group Fruit of the Loom), has selected CDMi (Collaborative Demand Management & intelligence) part of the TXTPERFORM2008 SCM suite from TXT e-solutions as the foundation for its PLM strategy.
The project is aimed at improving demand forecasting, assortment and replenishment planning, for all brands and sales channels in Europe. VFB Lingerie previously had manual and customised systems that were making it challenging to continue delivering best-in-class customer service while containing operational costs.
CDMi (Collaborative Demand Management & intelligence) will support the organisation to make fact-based decisions about sales, on-shelf product mix and replenishment, while ensuring that inventory costs are kept to a minimum across all DCs and warehouses in Spain, France, Portugal, Italy, Belgium and England.
With a growing international presence, strong creative vision and a wide portfolio of brands including Gemma, Intima Cherry, Belcor, Lou, Variance, Bestform and Vanity Fair, “Accelerate planning through collaboration, improve accuracy and more importantly manage the collection lifecycle from end-to-end with stronger visibility are critical success factors” said Fernando Camps, Chief Financial Officer at VFB Lingerie.
“We selected TXT for their ability to map the entire Fashion value chain, the in-depth functionality of TXTPERFORM2008, as well as their strong experience in the fashion sector which allows us to leverage on “best practices” and a proven implementation methodology.”
