The list of exhibitors at IMB Select 2010 reads like a Who’s Who of the sector’s strongest suppliers of IT systems, services and strategies for fashion and textile processing. Despite an ever-fuller schedule of exhibitions and events, the sector’s big players are once again showing the flag in Cologne. The concept of aligning the product ranges with the textile supply chain is proving successful.

Fashion & Textiles: IT Solutions, Services and Strategies

Koelnmesse is especially pleased with the popularity of the new hall layout in Hall 9, including the new stand construction, which has been accepted by the companies and filled with life. Many exhibitors are also demonstrating their business activities in further segments of the textile supply chain using additionally booked PC Campus Units.
Specialists such as Checkpoint, GSD, Setlog and Speedstep have taken up space in the “Sourcing Management” segment. The “Collection Management” segment is especially interesting, particularly when you consider the innovation density at the relaunch of the event’s content concept. This segment encompasses everything connected with collection planning, collection design, the processing of the technical design data and the entire pre-production area. Dassault, Discover e-solutions, Gerber, Grafis, ishopshape, Koppermann, PTC or SIC are all strong in this sector.
The “Manufacturing Management” segment is also traditionally well populated. This wide field is characterised by open and closed-loop control options, reduced-interface data transfer from planning specifications and logisticsoriented data transfer.
