Apple's iPad Safari browser supports Lawson M3 Supplier Portal for fashion

Lawson Software announced that one of its latest business applications, Lawson M3 Supplier Portal for Fashion, can now run on the Apple iPad through the introduction of support for the Safari Browser. This offers Lawson customers and their suppliers more choice and greater flexibility in how they access Lawson Supplier Portal. Lawson customers that have begun using iPad as mobile devices can now access the application while on the move.

“We recognize that iPad is one of the fastest-growing mobile devices on the market today and people are now using Apple iPads in their work environment,” said Frédéric Champalbert, general manager for Consumer Products for Lawson. “By supporting the Safari browser, we’re making it possible for our customers and their suppliers to access Supplier Portal whether they’re at their desk using their traditional laptop or PC or on-the-go with their iPad.”

The announcement further demonstrates Lawson’s commitment to innovation, choice and platform openness. “We were among the first software vendors to deliver a Java-based enterprise resource planning solution in the 1990s and we’ve continued to deliver innovation to benefit our customers,” said Henrik Billgren, vice president of Product Management for Lawson.
