MTS Allstream Inc. announced that it has signed a five-year contract to provide Business IP connectivity service to BCBG Max Azria Canada Inc, a leading designer, retailer and distributor of women’s apparel and accessories.
BCBG will implement Allstream’s Managed Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) service in its Canadian operations to improve business flexibility and streamline the flow of business-critical information for their 57 locations across the country. BCBG will also receive round-the-clock network management from Allstream, which will proactively monitor their network environment, mitigating network failures.
Dean Prevost, President of Allstream said, “BCBG is a dynamic and growing business, and I believe our MPLS service can play a key role in supporting that growth, connecting employees and stores, and improving the efficiency of their operations across Canada.”
Allstream’s Business IP combines the flexibility and intelligence of IP routing with the transport quality of a single high performance network, while MPLS technology simplifies and streamlines IP addressing to optimize data networks without the use of authentication, encryption or tunneling protocols. Together, this provides a secure mode of transport for a defined set of users including employees, partners or customers.
