PostCoder Web Nearest to support Fabric Warehouse

Fabric Warehouse, a national organisation specialising in textiles and fabric retail, is currently working with PostCoder.com in a bid to improve customer relations through lookup address searches and drive sales forward. The introduction of store locator software and online address finder PostCoder Web Nearest means potential customers can now easily perform lookup address searches for the Fabric Warehouse store closest to them on the company's website.

The fabric and textiles specialist has a total of fourteen stores spread across the UK. Prior to the deployment of PostCoder.com's software, customers had to look at the store list and decide for themselves which was the nearest branch. Today, however, customers simply have to enter their postcode online, and PostCoder.com's software will be able to tell them which is their nearest store, and precisely how far away that may be.

Harvey Abramson, IT and Projects Manager at Fabric Warehouse, comments, "By having the ability to show visitors to our site how close a store is, when they may previously have considered our branches too far away, PostCoder.com is now being actively used to increase our potential number of customers. We receive 3,000 individual visitors every week and having the ability to attract each of these to become customers by being able to reassure them of the proximity or accessibility of our stores is a valuable tool."
